Community Involvement

Each year High Desert Milk rewards high school students from around the Mini-Cassia area with scholarships to attend college. The winners are selected by the Board Members of High Desert Milk. In appreciation of the area, and to encourage the young people to go on to college and hopefully return to this area after they have earned a degree, this scholarship program was set up to reward the area youth for academic excellence. Students interested in applying for this scholarship can fill out and enter the application which can be found Applying seniors must be currently attending one of the following high schools: Burley, Declo, Minico, Kimberly, Murtaugh, Hansen, Oakley, Twin Falls. The deadline is March 15, so apply early.

High Desert Milk has also provides opportunities for current employees to obtain a higher education through an employee scholarship.

HDM Scholarship Golf Scramble

High Desert Milk puts together an annual Golf Scramble event in the month of August for all our valued Customers and Vendors to attend. This event is a two day event with plant tours and a Meet and Greet the first evening with the Golf Scramble the next morning and lunch afterward. This event is a great way for the High Desert Milk Management and Owners to get a chance to visit and thank all our wonderful supporters. The money raised by this event goes towards the scholarships given to the High Desert Milk Scholarship recipient winners.

FFA Sales

High Desert Milk supports our area 4-H and FFA members and to show our support, we take great pride in attending the Livestock Sales each year and taking part in buying some of the great livestock the area’s younger generation raise.
