
Ingredients
Dough
- 3/4 cup warm reconstituted
- 2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup , melted
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp salt
- 3 to 3 1/2 cups all purpose flour
Filling
- 1/2 cup , softened
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tbsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Frosting
- 4 oz , softened
- 2 tbsp , softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 to 2 tbsp milk
Instructions
- Combine warm milk, yeast, and a pinch of sugar. Let stand until foamy, about 5 minutes.
- Whisk in sugar, melted butter, egg, and salt. Add flour gradually and mix to a soft dough.
- Knead 5 to 7 minutes until smooth. Cover and rise until doubled, about 1 hour.
- Roll dough into a 12x16 inch rectangle. Spread softened butter, then sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Roll up tightly, slice into 12 rolls, and place in a greased 9x13 pan.
- Cover and rise 30 minutes. Bake at 350 F for 22 to 26 minutes until golden.
- Beat frosting ingredients until smooth. Spread over warm rolls and serve.
